About Our Classes
Refund Policy: Due to the limited size of class there are NO refunds or credits for unused classes after orientation or the first class. If you have extenuating circumstances, such as yourself or the dog becoming severely ill, please contact us. We will work with you to issue a credit towards another session.
Basic Manners Obedience Class
Obedience training gives you an opportunity to deepen your relationship with your dog and teaches them to be a better companion. Using a variety of techniques, your dog will learn to behave in many different situations. Your dog will also have an opportunity to socialize with other dogs and people. Our obedience techniques are taught using food rewards to achieve a positive first experience for your dog.
The Basic Manners class is a six-week session teaching obedience for everyday life. Sit, down, stay, no jumping, and controlled walking are some of the skills we focus on.
AKC Competition Obedience Classes
Group classes are offered for those dog owners who want to further their dog training and possibly compete with their dog in obedience trials sponsored by the American Kennel Club. The novice class emphasizes the essential training commands needed to make a dog a good companion: heel on a loose leash, sit, stand, down, stay in position, and come when called. Competition Obedience classes are $200 for 8 weeks of class. Private Instruction is also available by appointment.
